Hello, my name is Carla McCarthy. I've created this GoFundMe to kindly ask for your support in an urgent time of need. After having a good job for a long while, I bought a vehicle in 2024. Unfortunately, I lost that job in mid-August 2025 due to circumstances beyond my control. I had to supplement my income by delivering food while looking for a stable job, but started falling behind on bills. I recently found a new job, and my vehicle was repossessed the day before my first day at work. I tried to get an extension but they said not until the backpay is paid in full. While I struggle to stay positive, I'm hoping that with my new job, potential tax refund, and your support, I can settle the outstanding balance and reunite with my magical car ASAP. I'm heartbroken to tell you that I've received a letter from the bank. They've notified me that they plan to sell the car some time after this coming Monday, April, 20th, 2026, in a private sale. So, this is being changed into a fundraiser for buying another used car instead now. I'll still be doing my part in adding to this. Thank you still for any donation you give, everybody!
