Support Needed to Restore Our Home

On July 17th, a storm sent a 2x4 through our basement window, flooding our basement.

We lost all of our personal belongings down there, the furnace and water heater are destroyed, and we’ll have to completely gut, dry, and rebuild all the walls.

Even with insurance (who may not cover anything), we are going to have significant out-of-pocket costs to try to reset our lives back to normal.

We have been quoted $13,000-$16,000 to dry out and restore walls, $5,000 for a new furnace, and $3,500 for a new water heater. We had 1/3 of our living space and our furniture in the basement that we will need to replace.
