Well most of you already know I have been battling air conditioning issues going on about 4 months now. I live with my mom who is 80 years old, missing part of her lung due to lung cancer 12 years ago , she's on a fixed income as I am only working a part-time job due to having issues finding a full-time job and I do Uber as often as I can to make ends meet & to pay my bills . And believe me it's a struggle. The AC worked for about a week after it was finally repaired and then it started leaking and started flooding out my house shortly after that, lost my AC again.. My friend / technician did a thorough investigation without actually going on the roof because he went on the roof originally and saw there was nothing wrong up there, he determined that there is a leak and that it could be anywhere from the roof to my apartment with the lines going down through the building which means that in order to have this repair i have to come up with the funds to have a AC company come out and do a leak detection, and then once the leak is found, I have to come up with the funds to repair that . My concern is the cost of having to open walls to get to the pipes and then have to replace or repair. Neither my mom or I are in any position financially to afford this.. We're living in the heat in this hot humid weather using the little Arctic air machines to try to give ourselves some relief from how hot and humid the condo is getting.. The heat in the house is making the house feel so humid which will bring mold.. So in the meantime we have no choice but to suffer with no air conditioning in our condo so until I can either find a full time job or get more hours at my job or I can get up enough money through this to have the AC fixed, I am asking for help.. And with the summer coming I'm so worried about how bad it's going to get in my house.. So I'm asking for whatever help I can get . I have over a thousand friends on my list. A dollar or two would really go a long way if everybody donated just that.. I hate doing this because I feel like I'm begging for help but unfortunately it's more of a health thing with my mom and with me because of mold
