Hi friends,

My name is Caryn Hightower (Carter), and I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Brenda Chittenden.

Brenda has been fighting serious health issues, and right now her doctors have told her she’s too sick to work. She has been in and out of the hospital and is doing everything she can to focus on recovery. Unfortunately, with no income and limited options, she is also facing the very real possibility of not having a safe place to live once she’s discharged.

Brenda and her emotional support dog, Bella Vita, mean so much to so many of us. What she needs most right now is safe, stable housing and basic support so she can continue healing without the added stress of homelessness.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 to cover Brenda’s immediate cost of housing, food, and essentials — and to make sure she and Bella Vita can stay safe and together during this difficult time.
