On March 28th, the craziest thing happened to me. My new car was stolen. I had just purchased this car the month before. I had finally made one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. I used all of my money to purchase my very first car on my own. I was so proud of myself.

After searching, I was able to find my car, but it was severely damaged inside. What was supposed to be a fresh start quickly turned into a stressful and overwhelming situation. When I purchased the car, I only chose liability insurance because I didn’t realize how important full coverage would be. Now I’m stuck paying for all of the damages completely out of pocket. The dealership originally told me they would fix the car, but now they’re giving me the runaround. They’re saying their only mechanic is on vacation for a month and are now telling me I should just handle everything myself.

I’m doing my best to stay strong, but this has been extremely hard. This car was my only transportation, and I truly depend on it for my daily responsibilities. I’m asking for help; anything you can give or even just sharing this means more than you know. I’m trying to get my car repaired and get back on my feet after this setback.
