Dear friends, family, and community,

I hate to be writing this, but recently my life was thrown into chaos. My friend and I were the victims of a terrifying hit-and-run accident. A driver jumped the curb, and physically struck us knocking us unconscious. As people screamed for help, the driver slammed the gas and rolled the rest of their car over us before fleeing the scene.

By some miracle, we survived and I am deeply grateful for that. Still, I was left with severe pain throughout my lower extremities, severe neck pain, and head trauma that have made it difficult to walk, work, and function normally.

Unfortunately, I don’t have medical insurance, and between the emergency care, follow-up appointments, and time away from work, the financial strain is overwhelming. Times have already been tough, and now I’m facing the uncertainty of bills I can’t manage on my own.

This fundraiser is to help cover:

- Medical expenses (tests, treatments, follow-ups)

- Lost wages while I recover and can’t work

- Basic needs while I get back on my feet
