I am reaching out to ask for help. Anything appreciated. $1, $5, $10..etc... As some of you know, I was laid off at the beginning of the year from my job after 8 years with the company. Since then, I have gone through some serious diabetic health complications. This has severely affected my vision, the use of my hands, and my legs. I am currently under a doctor's care and finally receiving treatment for my eyes, which will keep me from starting work just a little longer. I have literally gone through my savings and have had to live off my credit cards the last few months. Unfortunately, on top of that, I had a family member burn me for a large amount of money after helping them try and save their home. Unbelievably, this family member went into hiding and moved out of the house I helped them save, and like a coward, threatened to kill me when I asked for the money they owed me. Funny how that works. I've always tried to be there for anyone that has needed my help, and now I am humbly asking for help myself. Believe me when I say, I have thought and tried everything, but sadly I am at the end of the rope. This is just specifically for rent to get me through the next couple of months to recover from eye treatments and have surgery performed. My landlord has worked with me, but now needs to notify their lawyers to proceed with eviction unless I come up with rent for September by this Tuesday 09/30 and then rent for October by 10/04. This will help me out until December 4th when my lease is up and I can find another place to move to.
