Hello everyone, resident geek here. This isn't really something I want to do nor want to do again, but due to unforeseen events in this completely messed up economy we live in, I'm currently faced with having to find the money to move somewhere I can barely afford to live in at a rate barely above minimum wage. Unable to find a better job since none are available and also unable to find anywhere willing to house me or have me as a roommate for a more affordable cost of living. Not to mention the government shutdown making SNAP and other such food supplements I use to afford housing now making me have to pick between being able to afford to eat, or afford to live in a studio apartment that somehow costs over 90% of my paycheck. The worst part being I won't even have enough money to pay off the cost of first month's rent nor a security deposit.

As it is now, I'm looking for somewhere to go, and hopefully will find something more affordable before the homeowner of my current location evicts me, due to him having to remove me with my parents (complete malarkey btw, I have to be removed because I'm related to those leeches). Generally, where I'm going to go is a complete toss-up and at the mercy of (of course) cash and the generosity of others as of now.

I only really need the help due to this being on such short notice (I only have a month's time) and after, I should hopefully be able and well enough to pay for the place on my own. That, or hopefully something better comes along and in that case, I can use the money sent here to help rent that place out far more comfortably.

I hate asking for help, but as it stands I simply won't be able to do much by myself, so here I am hoping I can get the help I shamefully need to kickstart and manage an apartment, or location with a family member, or something. As it stands now, my best option is a $1210 a month studio apartment, hence asking for a bit over double that as it would hopefully help me cover both the security deposit I need and first month's rent. then anything leftover goes towards food

Anything will help me, but I understand if this doesn't go anywhere.
