Friends, I am at a complete loss and I have no choice now but to turn to you all for help.

As many of you know, it has been a difficult year for a number of reasons. I am still recovering financially from over 18 months of unemployment.

Sunday night, I had a major electrical malfunction in my house. Water from the rain last week leaked into my circuit breaker box and now the whole box needs to be replaced, as well as other repairs to bring things up to code. The estimate for repair is over $6000.

I'm not good at asking for help, but I need to swallow my pride in this case.

Whatever you can do to help would be appreciated.
