Hello everyone. This year has been a real bear. Well, the last several really, but I’ve always managed. Now I just feel overwhelmed.

I need a new roof, I need to replace my back sliding glass door because it’s ancient and jams. If we have a fire and had to go out that way, we would be in trouble.

Further, last winter my heating bill went from $100 a month to $300 a month. I work, but I’m still paying that off and they have turned off my natural gas. I’ve got no heat, can’t cook, or take a hot shower. I owe them $900 for that. It’s taking so long because this is also the year that my car needed hundreds in maintenance. Because I don’t want to face another winter with these high bills, I priced the cost of putting in a pellet stove. It’s much more economical in the long run. The stove is around $1,000, $5,500 including installation.

It is really hard to ask for help. I’ve been praying and the money just isn’t coming. Then I remembered GoFundMe, but I didn’t know if I could just come here to seek help. It turns out you can and I thought, well, maybe that’s God too. So here I am asking for your help with what has completely overwhelmed me. I also have an ambulance bill that’s $2,970 and other things, but if I can just get these bigger things taken care of, I’ll figure out the rest myself.
