Support needed for the Rhodes family through loss & illness

Hi everyone-

My name is Michelle if you don't already know me.

I'm reaching out for a helping hand to get us through this time of hardship that we were not prepared for.

In October of 2024, my father passed away. He, my mother, and my disabled brother lived together. He helped pay most of their mortgage. My mother had to shift her financial balance from house bills to the cost of their house. My mother is disabled and battling cancer for the 3rd time in her life.

Michael, my disabled brother, covered most of the bills he could for my mother after this. Sadly, my brother is now in end-of-life care. I was his caregiver and obviously haven't been working for him for over 3 weeks now, since he came into the hospital. I have also had to take time off of my other part-time job to navigate through my brother's medical needs.

Normally, I would never ask anyone for help if I could prevent it.

But with the passing of my father, my mother's continued care needs for her cancer and chemo treatments, my brother being in end-of-life care, and me not being able to work through it all, I am reaching out for any help we can get at this time.

I know that was kind of a word salad, but that's how my thoughts work.
