Support Needed for Stability Amid Crisis

I am not usually the one to come to social media with my business, however there is a clear smear campaign that my mom is going on to water down the situation.

in March, my mother assaulted me. she woke me from my rest, proceeded to give a long laundry list of hostile accusations as to why I hadn’t been to work all week that week, which was due to my car having engine problems.

my manager and I had already came to an agreement on compensating me for my lost time. instead of asking me if the rent was going to be okay or if I was going to be ok — she became upset. I calmly asked her to leave my room to give me time to wake up and come to her in 15 min. she refused, proceeded to stay in my room, badgering me with accusations and questions and cutting me off mid sentence when leading to answer them.

later in the conversation, she began making an audio recording telling lies about my situation. I too started video recording. I began to yell and scream over her as she proceeded to lie. she got up from the couch, approached me and began yelling in my face. I walked away and went into the kitchen, where I called her an idiot for lying about things I have proof of, to when she charged towards me, punched me in the face and then drug me by my hair across the kitchen. I left the apartment to call my cousin to get me. not even 10 minutes later, I receive a text from mother that she is backing out of our agreement, breaking the lease, and I am to be homeless. our lease arrangement was that while she is in living Jamaica now, she would put her name as primary on the lease until I sort out my bankruptcy (which I filed bc she used my SSN and made unauthorised purchases as well as her failing to pay the rent in a previous apt which ended in eviction) it is not sorted out yet and the lease is supposed to end in August.

she was arrested shortly after and the entire altercation is caught on video. I will not be sharing the video as it is evidence during this active criminal case.

now, she is taking pictures of my personal diary entries from 2015-2016, weaponising them by sending them around to family (who knows who else) and is calling me bipolar and mentally unstable/ill. this has resulted to me being denied jobs since I got fired from my last one due to this situation.

I need help/support. I am not sure where to go from here. she has agreed to let me stay for the remainder of the lease, but will not help with any expenses and still threatens to get me evicted to this day.

I have lost my last job due to this situation and the stress she has put on me. I have found it hard to find a new job as it is being told that I am “mentally unstable”, cannot afford my vital medications, bills, and other expenses, and am facing eviction for being behind multiple months.
