Not many of you know but I spent a month in the hospital, I spent Christmas and new year away from my family and even now, I still have to do some rehab to be able to get my mobility back. Not only do I have a tremendous hospital bill but I still have to go back for 3 more weeks and pay for a hotel for an intensive 8am-4pm PT,OT,Biofeedback, etc. I have symptoms that have affected my mobility drastically, it comes with every day dizziness, syncope at random times with no warning and a very high heart rate, it also comes with panic attacks and severe anxiety, I experience these on a daily basis. I use a wheelchair most of the time outside the house because my heart rate is so high when I walk. I also have a walker to help me until I get better. I usually don’t do this type of things and I never really ask people for anything but I figured I would try. I am in the search for a service dog to help me with my day to day activities, to alert me when I am about to have an episode and to alert others when I need help and to help me get back into some type of normal while I adapt to this. I have tried every place that is free but the wait is 2+years or they are no longer accepting applications this year. I need to get my life back before that. I found one place but there is a fee of $8000 that pays for the training and time. I don’t have to raise the whole amount but Every tiny amount helps towards that. If you have a couple extra dollars in your budget to spare please consider helping.
thank you so much.
