Urgent Help Needed – Struggling Without A/C in Extreme Heat

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d find myself asking for help like this, but I’m reaching out because I truly need it.

My home’s HVAC unit has broken down for the second time, and I’ve now been without air conditioning for over a week. With the heat reaching 92 degrees inside my home, it’s become nearly impossible to live comfortably. The repair company won’t be able to come out for another 4 days, meaning I’ll be enduring this sweltering heat for 11 days total.

Every day feels like a battle just to stay cool. Between fans, ice packs, and staying in one room, I’m doing my best to survive, but it’s just not enough. The stress of trying to keep my home safe and liveable has become overwhelming, and I’m at the point where I need to take action.

To make sure I don’t have to go through this again, I’m raising funds to purchase a second HVAC unit — so that I’ll have a reliable backup if something breaks down in the future. With summer temperatures continuing to climb, it’s become clear that this is something I can’t afford to delay.
