Support Needed to Save My Dog’s Life
Donation protected
My dog was attacked by 2 pittbulls on Tuesday 2/11/25 and severely injured. He was hospitalized for multiple days and underwent 2 procedures. The cost of his treatment/procedures is $7,700. My dog had to have about 9-10 major sutures, he has suffered bite punctures all the way through his jaw and punctures through his ears. As of 2/18 my dog had to have a 3rd procedure and possibly 2 more to correct his neck wound injury, which is an additional $5,000 or so. He will need much follow up care until he is fully recovered which could probably take months. The dogs ran up behind us on our walk and escaped out of a homeless persons RV that is always parked right across the street from where we live. I called the police and made an incident report. I got bit trying to get help my dog. I am requesting support from all my friends and family as well as their friends/network. I’m an also a single mother of a human child with barely any support. If people can help me raise funds to pay for his medical bills it would be greatly appreciated. My dog lived through his procedures however, is still experiencing some complications. Please pray for my dog. We dont deserve this. If I would’ve seen the dogs coming from ahead of me I would’ve picked him up super quick and ran. The dogs snuck up from behind us. We just started our walk and my baby got brutally injured. I couldn’t protect my baby. Please help support im my fur baby’s recovery journey on my go fund me. It’s going to expensive with future treatments and other possible procedures that need to happen, which I pray won’t exceed more than 2 additional surgeries. Any donations is appreciated, as well as prayers.
Update: as of 2/20/25, my dog has received 5 procedures….majority of the procedures since Monday 2/17 has been wound cleanings and rebandaging that requires sedation each time. Each bandage change is anywhere between $400-$700, and needs changing and cleaning every 24 hours. There has been some complications infections coming and going in his neck wound, and now the side wound behind his right leg is being drained from the neck wound infection interfering with the wound healing behind his leg. My dog needs bandage changes everyday until his neck wound has healthy tissues and no infections…enough to close the wound and suture it up and close it so it heals properly. Despite the complications that have occurred, my dog is getting a little better each day, so the treatments and care is helping. It’s just very stressful, mentally, emotionally and financially. All the support that people have provided is so wonderful and is a blessing. I hope this recovery process is over soon because I’m exhausted and this is very expensive and unfair that we have to deal with this. You are all my fur baby’s guardian angels!
