My Story

Hi my name is Alison; I have spent the last 20 years putting my health as a top priority in my life unfortunately despite that cancer still made its way into my breast.

Due to childhood trauma, from age sixteen I was always unwell physically and mentally, I was completely beaten down and couldn’t find the help I needed for over a decade from the main stream health system.

When I turned 30 I lost a close friend in a car accident and it woke me up to the appreciating the life that I had.

I realised that from that day on (like all of us) that I wasn't going to get any younger but also if I didn’t find a way to help myself very soon that I wouldn't want to go on living.

So, I turned my life around I tried every natural remedy and modality that I possibly could.

Finally, after years of that I found a meditation teacher that help me transform every aspect of my life.

I started my own business and stopped all medications and became vegetarian. This was a huge turning point for me and I have never looked back and have been medication free since then. I am now 54.

Since then, I have made healing trauma and nourishing and supporting myself financially my top priorities and I've enjoyed very good health.

So, it is very humbling for me to find myself in a position that I am needing to ask for help.

It's not an easy thing for me to do but that is also part of what I need to heal and I didn’t want to ask friends to create this page for me.

What the funds will be used for.

Unfortunately, the current income I derive from being self -employed doesn't give me enough income to support myself and also heal the cancer naturally.

To be able to heal naturally without undoing the last 20 years efforts by having chemotherapy or radiation therapy I hope to be able to have surgery to remove the cancer and then to use metabolic approach to cancer healing.

It is a very powerful approach that is getting very good results for many people.

It includes treatments like intravenous vitamin c and hyperbaric oxygen treatments alongside a supplement protocol and low toxicity drugs.

If you are passionate about supporting natural therapists (because ultimately this is where the funds will end up going) and the ground breaking work that they do, this is one way you can support that system and obviously support my healing as well.

I am also setting up this fundraiser because I have had so many people genuinely want to offer me help and support and I know what it is like to be that person and feel like there is nothing you can do.

Any donation you feel like making no matter how small will have an impact.

I am strong and in otherwise very good health, mentally and physically and determined to find a way through just as I have so many times before.

How I will give back.

When all this is over, I plan to give back by teaching the unique meditation that has supported me through all of this and also resume doing my own unique deep tissue massage.

I’m so passionate about sharing what I’ve learnt through my own years of healing and I can’t wait to get back to doing it again.
