UPDATE

You are all amazing. Within hours, I have all that I need to prepare my dad, and give him a loving sendoff. My heart is overflowing. If you know me, you know I am too independent to ask for anything…right now, I cannot cling to that identity. In 2 days, it will be a month since my father passed, which means it will be a month that he’s been in the morgue. The crazy thing is that we had just decided to work on having a relationship, and I found out how sick he was the same day, which was barely two months before he passed. Regardless of what we went through, he was my father. I loved him. So I took on full responsibility for his care, and am now taking on full responsibility for his last goodbye, but it seems I won’t be able to do it all alone, so I am reaching out to anyone who knew him or cares about me, who can help in any way, big or small. I tried everything I could on my own. Tears fill my eyes as I write these words…this ask for help, but I know that everything will work out. Thank you, in advance, to any and all who help. You have no idea what your support means to me.
