I'm a type one diabetic and just recently (April) found out that I'm in end-stage kidney failure. I've had to start going to dialysis three times a week for 3 1/2 hours each time, which makes it very difficult to find a job. I've applied for disability, but that is taking time.
I was in the hospital on March 19, and then about a month ago, they put me in this rehab center for physical therapy and dialysis and came home in May. I am now back home just trying to pay rent and keep the lights on, among other things.
I just looked at my bank account this morning and saw that they overdrafted it by almost $400. I also had to recently put the power bill at my house in my name, and they're charging me a $400 deposit. They said they could split it between the first two bills, but that still means that for the next two months, my power bill will be over $300. As well as rent.
I'm literally between a rock and a hard place, and I don't know what to do anymore. The stress of all of this is physically making me sick and goes against my goal of getting stronger. If there's anything that anybody would be able to help me out with, I would be beyond grateful. I really just wanna be able to focus on my health and not focus on the fact that my life is falling apart around me and I just don't know what to do. Especially since rent is due in a few weeks. Anything at all would be immensely appreciated and helpful
Thank you all very much for at the very least taking time to read this. THANK YOU
