Brave horse

I rescued a horse that was running loose in the foothills around 2 years ago he was on the brink of starvation, he has open wounds wounds on all his legs, scars all over his poor body that was in the brink of giving up, upon taking him to the vet for evaluation the vet herself said this was the worst case of animal torture she had ever seen first hand together we came up with a plan unsure if his body could endure even getting better, I came home with him and a plan I wrapped and cared for his wounds daily slowly fed him wormed him and day by day “Valiente” became stronger and healthier…week by week his coat began to glisten and his personality began to shine… I spent countless hours doctoring and pampering him… we had his leg sore biopsied and it came back as summer sores… this past winter all healed and beautiful my 16 year old son started riding him doing fun things they did their first gymkhana together and won first place proud moment!!! Then spring hit and the wound on his leg has opened back up!!! I have spoken to the vet and the only way to heal it permanently is going to be expensive and a long road..Val is not in any pain he isn’t lame or

limping it’s just open and pretty gross every evening after work I unwrap it clean it and wrap it back up…when I tell you this horse means everything to me I don’t think that conveys exactly how much I love him.. the day I unloaded him from the trailer with tears rolling down my face from what I was witnessing I promised him he was safe and I would fight for him as long as he didn’t give up PLEASE help me keep my promise to him
