Support Needed for Essential Car Repairs and Rent

Donation protected
Hey again everyone. I am once again in a position I hoped never to find myself in, and that is one of need. Slowly and surely, I had been making great strides to get myself on stable footing and move forward, but we have hit a rough patch of road, one that has taken a sudden and unexpected toll on me. I could have handled one emergency car repair - these things happen, and you take it in stride, which I did. Then the second repair came, more costly than the first.

Now there is another repair that desperately needs to get done, or the travel to and from the Ohio Renaissance Festival will be not just dangerous but may jeopardize my season, and a looming fourth repair now as well. All of this has also set me back a rather large chunk of cash that I need to pay the most essential things in life, such as rent, utilities, food, etc.

I had an amazing time this summer at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire, but it was a much slower festival for me than it has been in the past. Everything right now costs more - EVERYTHING - and I understand if people don't have the ability to buy luxury things like CDs and T-Shirts, but that combined with the extreme high temperatures conspired to keep the crowds away and as a result, tips were also down. A lot.

Coming to you again after all I've been through in the past and all you've helped me with feels . . . I don't like asking for help. It's not what I was taught to do growing up, and it frankly makes me feel like I have failed as a person. That's irrational, I know. It doesn't change the fact that I need help. I'm in over my head with two unexpected car repairs, and now one very necessary repair and one looming issue are casting a long shadow over me.

I know we're all tight on finances. If you can't donate, please know that I understand. If you can help out, any amount, I can't say enough hope much that would mean to me. The biggest hurdle beyond my car repairs is to rebuild my little corner of the Ohio Renaissance Festival as last winter's harsh weather destroyed my little gazebo. So there's that, too.

If you've read this far, thank you for doing so. If you can't donate, can you please share this, boost the signal?
