Support needed for Elderly couple experiencing crisis

I need your help with something very urgent:

There’s not an easy or short way to share this story. But I’m going to try. People have helped me, so I help others.

I have the sweetest couple who are real estate clients and dear friends of mine. They are 79 and 80 years old. They just had their buyer back out of buying their home, an hour before closing, for no logical reason.

During all of this and before knowing it was collapsing, while my clients were trying to accommodate that same buyer moving in, they had their entire home packed and either taken to the house, they now cannot buy and were under contract on, or to storage units, while we looked for answers.

The buyer backing out left my elderly people with a moving bill, a lost earnest deposit on their purchase, lost new home and unbelievable stress and a now empty house that we thought was sold. They bent over backwards to help someone else get into their home, only to be left in a disaster. They didn’t deserve this.

I am only one person. But I’m one person with a voice and a serious passion in helping my clients and friends. This has put an incredible financial burden on them that was absolutely devastating and unexpected. No one saw this coming. Anything and everything helps.

I am stepping up to try to help ease some of this financial burden. I can’t do it by myself, so I’m asking for donations and support for them. My heart is absolutely broken. I can’t control that buyer backing out, but I certainly can spread the word and try to help my people move forward. We now have to re list their home, empty. They have only a bed and chair while we navigate this. Never in my 26 year career in the real estate industry have I ever experienced something of this magnitude.
