I am raising funds for my dad's cremation. Unfortunately, I have already paid for his cremation in Massachusetts, but currently, he is in New Jersey due to being on a ventilator. There are only two facilities in Massachusetts that take new trach patients, and they were filled to capacity. So, he ended up in New Jersey to let the trach mature. We were going to bring him home, but he isn't medically stable enough for the facility in Massachusetts. Now, I need the money to pay for his cremation in New Jersey. This week, I am sad to say we will be shutting off the ventilator so he can pass and rest in peace.

I would like to tell you what happened to him while under the care of Holyoke Medical Center. He was in the ICU being cared for a UTI and pneumonia. The doctor informed me that a PICC line in the artery in his leg got plugged, so the doctor had to change it. While doing so, they tore the artery. Instead of doing the right thing and sending him immediately to surgery, she tried to stop the bleeding to cover up the malpractice and save herself from getting in trouble. So, my dad sat there with his artery torn for 15 hours before the doctor sent him for surgery. The result of her actions left his brain permanently damaged. His lungs don't function anymore, and he is in a catatonic state.

So, please help me and my dad raise money for his cremation and memorial service.
