Support Needed for Cesar's Final Expenses

Hello , This is our beloved fur baby Cesar. He was 7 years old and so loved. He was 1 of our 3 beautiful cats. He favored my youngest sibling. They were thick as thieves. Cesar was born when they were 3 and they have been inseparable since. Cesar was a large fluffy orange boy with the sweetest heart. He loved sitting anywhere he would fit. His favorite place to lay was on top of whatever important paperwork my mom was working on. He would start purring if you even looked at him. He loved to be loved.

This past saturday we noticed Cesar was acting very different . He was shaky and lethargic and not his normal fluffy happy self. My mother took him to the vet where they told her it was most likely a bladder blockage but they refused to do any testing or treatment without an up front payment of almost $600 which , even combined , we could not afford. They essentially told us there was nothing they could do if we did not have the money. My mom ended up having to pay 230 to even speak with the doctor. My mother called Angel memorial in boston and they told her they would not turn her away. She drove into Boston hopeful that there could be an easy fix to this. The doctors and staff at Angel memorial were absolutely amazing and caring. They ran tests and it came back that Cesar had a Kidney infection that needed operation. They told my mother that even with the operation , not only would it be thousands of dollars but that he may not make it and his quality of life would be poor and he would need continuous procedures in the future. Essentially he would suffer for the rest of his life... They said the best course of action would be Euthanization. We did not want him to suffer and my mother knew the best option was to let him rest. She held him while he purred and crossed over the rainbow bridge at 3am on sunday morning. We are absolutely devastated and struggling with the loss. As times are extremely hard financially and as we wait for our sweet boy's ashes to arrive home , we are trying to put money together for the expenses. Anything helps. Anything at all. I just want to be able to help my mom take care of this vet bill. Thank you for reading.
