Hi, my name is Matthew and I’m a single father doing my best to keep going—until my body and life both hit a wall.

I’ve been an Uber driver for the past few years, and my car was not just my job—it was my lifeline. A few weeks ago, I was in an accident that totaled the car I relied on daily. I managed to get another vehicle to stay on the road, but just when I thought I could push through, my health took a hit.

I recently had surgery to remove one of my toes due to diabetes complications. Doctors told me I’m at serious risk of the infection spreading to my foot if I don’t rest and take care of it properly. But resting isn’t easy when you’re the only provider for your child, and bills are piling up.

Right now, I’m asking for help to cover my basic expenses for the next 2 months—rent, utilities, food, and transportation—so I can heal fully without risking further damage or amputation.
