(Rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer.) This has since turned our worlds upside down. We never imagined or saw this coming as we planned our future and had endless conversations of growing old together and what that would look like. Initially he was a super hero when he started his first round of chemotherapy treatment. His main tumor had actually shrunk. Fast forward several months later and this was no longer the case. Things started to back slide but we still had hope. He is a fighter but the chemo was no longer responding. A new treatment plan was put into action and we were on the upward climb again, so we had thought. The new treatment continued for some time and took a big toll on Andrew's body physically and mentally. After time and time again of him powering through his treatment no matter how bad it knocked him down we had another scan to check the progress. The cancer is still not responding, the doctor tells us we should think about Hospice to keep him comfortable as we are out of treatment options with the progression of this awful disease. Andrew is fighting to hold onto his life everyday as he has been given bad news over and over again. He is still my super hero! Along with his fight have come a lot of medical bills on top of already existing bills and ongoing care bills to keep Andrew comfortable with the pain he is enduring. With your help and support we can continue the care that Andrew deserves. He touches so many hearts of his family and friends. A big shout out to you all who have helped support him through this long and hard journey and those donating. We could not do this without you!
