Hello friends! My name is Heather Short. On Friday, March 14, 2025, my childhood home caught fire in Walnut, KS.

At the time of the fire, my nephew Aaron DuVall, his girlfriend Christina, and their 5 children Kyler, Aaron, Zaqry, Lincoln, and Jax were living in the house. If you know Aaron, you would know he would help anyone out that he could. Now it’s time for people to come together to help him and his family. They lost everything they had. With only having a little bit of renter's insurance, the funds will not go far. They will have to start from the bottom since they have no home and no belongings. If you can donate, please do.
