Hello my name is Colton. I am a resident of LA who has been impacted by the fires.

I could use help for a couple of reasons. First off I work in Brentwood, LA that has been evacuated due to being so close to the fire. Without being sure when I'm returning to work or if there will be a work to return to, I am already out a week's pay.

Secondly, my father just passed away. He did not leave anything behind and I need help to organize the funeral and the expenses along with it.

Backstory: For those who don't know me, I recently moved to LA to chase a dream of making it big. It has been a struggle to start a life here with a few things going wrong bringing a small amount of debt. I was supposed to split the cost of moving to Los Angeles with someone else but unfortunately that fell through right before the move and I had to buy a vehicle large enough to fit all of my belongings in. Once I finally found work, the job was not what I expected it to be. I like to think of myself as someone good with money but I did not allocate for the combined gas prices with an hour commute in a low mpg vehicle, the cost of my living situation changing abruptly and now the recent events are overwhelming.

I also wanna let people know my home has not been claimed by the fires as this is written and I do have food/provisions to make it, so if you want to donate to other people less fortunate please do.
