UPDATE 3:
(From the Family) : It breaks our hearts to share the news that Weston's injuries were too severe for his little body to recover from. He peacefully passed away in his mother's arms and with his father by their side, being able to be held for the first time in so long. BUT before the little badass could completely leave this world, he saved three lives on his way to heaven. We are forever grateful for the opportunity we were given to take our tragedy and turn it into something beautiful. There aren't too many souls whose life story includes saving three lives by the age of 7. Although his years were so much shorter than anyone could have expected, his impact is huge. He left a mark on every heart he touched and is loved by so many.
UPDATE 2:
The next 72-hours are crucial for Weston. The main thing is that he is where he needs to be getting the help he needs.
UPDATE 1:
They made it to Denver. Weston is stable right now, per his mom. We also want to extend thanks to the person who stopped and pulled Weston out of the car and started CPR until EMS showed up. What you did gave him a chance to fly to Denver and get help. THANK YOU! #PrayersForWeston
On August 7, Dylan Seright had a seizure while driving with his children in the car. This caused the car to veer off the road and crash into a raised foundation home. His daughter, Rosie, suffered a neck injury and is staying in the hospital overnight for observation.
Tragically, his son, Weston, sustained major brain injuries from the crash. A passerby started CPR on Weston until paramedics arrived; he was transferred to Benefis Health System and arrived without a pulse. He has since stabilized enough to travel and is currently being life flighted to Denver with his mother, Ciara Nagy. Dylan himself broke his hips and has a tear in his liver.
This family is in urgent need of support as they navigate this difficult and uncertain time. Your donations will go towards medical expenses and supporting their recovery journey.
