I’m working 45–48 hours a week, doing everything I can to stay afloat. Recently, my rent was increased beyond what I can realistically afford, and now I’m facing eviction. At the same time, I’m living with COPD, and the cost of my medication has become overwhelming. These aren’t optional medications—they’re what help me breathe and keep going to work every day. Without them, everything becomes harder.
I’ve tried to handle this on my own. I work as much as I can, I budget carefully, and I’ve cut back everywhere possible. But right now, it’s not enough. I’m at a point where I’m at risk of losing my home while also struggling to afford the medication I need to stay healthy and keep working.
I’m asking for help to catch up on rent and avoid eviction, cover essential COPD medication, and get myself a little stability while I get back on track. Any amount, no matter how small, truly makes a difference. Even sharing this helps more than you know.
