Support For A New Widow In Need
Donation protected
Before you read my story, I appreciate any help you can offer during this extremely painful experience. Whether it’s financial support or sharing this message with others.

Hi everyone,
My name is Michelle, and I need support as I dive into navigating a harrowing situation. On October 23rd, I lost my husband, Jason White, in a tragic accident. The grief I feel is overwhelming. Jason was my partner and best friend. We had just celebrated our two-year anniversary this past September. We had so many more milestones and plans to look forward to.
I moved from Calgary to Chicago to be with him two years ago. We faced many challenges together, including losing a loved one and navigating a long-distance relationship during the pandemic. Just this fall, I felt like my life in Chicago was finally in a good flow. Now, as a widow, my world feels turned upside down, and I have a lot to figure out in a short amount of time.
I’m not in a fit mental or emotional state to juggle tattooing, raw grief and managing huge urgent life decisions. I also don’t qualify for immediate financial aid. It has always been hard for me to ask for help, but I really need it now. Contributions will help me cover the following things for a little while I sort out what to do next.
- Legal fees
- Living expenses
- Mortgage
- Debts
- A new health insurance policy
- Much-needed mental health care
- Beginning the plans for a Celebration of Life to honor Jason
If you can contribute in any way, it would mean so much to me. Your support will help me focus on sorting things out and remembering the wonderful husband Jason was.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate any help you can offer, whether it’s financial support or sharing this message with others.
With deepest gratitude,
