Hello good people, I come to you with a heavy heart. I'm currently at the hospital where my ribs were crushed in by a car accident. It wasn't my fault, or so the cops say. I'm being told the guy who hit me says it was my fault. He's likely an undocumented worker, meaning he had no insurance. He wants an investigation done which could take who knows how long (or for him to get outta the country). Meanwhile, I have rent and bills due immediately. Who knows when (or if) I'll even see this guy again. Being optimistic, I do hope to see him again in order to pay bills. But even if that were to happen, it probably wouldn't happen for months. Basically, I'm screwed. And in all humility, I'm asking that anyone who may be able to help, please give me a little peace.

If it happens and the investigation will be wrapped up, that'd be great. But I still need to keep a roof over my head atm and pay an overdue phone bill. I'm not one to ask for any financial favors; it's embarrassing, but desperate times require desperate measures.
