Hi, my name is Ricky. I am a human\animal rights activist I’m reaching out because I’ve found myself in a difficult and urgent situation.

Recently, the Scottish police came to my privately rented flat and forcibly smashed down my doors before arresting me in connection with political protest activity, and to make matters worse, I’ve since been found guilty of other protest-related charges. My sentencing is set for 15th July 2025, and there’s a real possibility I may be facing time in prison.

Because of the damage caused by the police, I now need to replace the door with a certified fire door – a legal requirement for my tenancy. (Already paid half for the front door) The cost of this replacement for the second door is £1,000. I would fund this myself but with rent debt building up and just can't financially do this

My landlord has been incredibly patient and understanding, and I want to honour my promise to get this resolved before sentencing. But time is running out, and I can’t do it alone.
