I’m asking for donations to help cover the cost of my camera equipment, phone, bag, and other items that went into the pool that insurance may not cover.

In short, at a wedding this weekend I ended up in the pool to rescue a child that was drowning. Praise the lord she is oka!! I would do it all over again - but my equipment strapped to me didn’t quite make it out okay. What I’ve learned is that insurance will likely have a large deductible or may deny my claim because I chose to go in the water and it wasn’t a hazard of working. I will find out after the holiday weekend, either way it could be a months long process to get funds. So with that, I’m hoping to close the gap on what they may or may not cover.
