Support Needed After Job Loss Over Politics

As some of you know, I lost my job awhile back. I finally found a new position and thought I was finally on my way to getting myself out of a hole. Well, I was at work a couple of weeks ago and the news was on in the waiting room. One of the owners of the company made a comment that “anyone who voted for this guy is obviously an idiot”(referring to Trump). I casually said well, then, “I guess I am an idiot”. The energy in the office immediately shifted. At the end of the day, I was told “I don’t think our values are a match”and was let go. Not because I am not good at my job, not because I wasn’t doing my job, but because I have a different political view then them. So now, I am in a real bind. I have applied for unemployment but that will not come through in time for this months upcoming bills so I am asking or maybe at this point begging. I have never forced my political views on anyone and have never judged anyone on theirs either. We don’t have to agree on things to know that being let go over choosing something different is wrong! Please help if you can, I really do appreciate any help you can give. Love to all
