I don't like asking for help, but I find myself in a fix. As you might know, in January I had open heart surgery to remove a mass on my aortic valve. It all went well and I'm recovered, but I was out of work for three months. Short term disability covered most but not all of the bills, so I fell a little behind, and i also now have significant medical bills to pay. Then, on the way home from my first day back to work, my car broke down, so that's one more expense. And I also found out that I am likely losing my side job.

As I said, I don't like asking for help, but I'm kind of stuck. Anything I get will go to getting myself back in my feet financially and paying down my medical debt.
