Hi, I am Edwin, from the Netherlands, long-time friends of Péter and Veronika. I would like to ask for your help after my friend's home was destroyed in a fire. Recently they bought a nice house in the hills of the idyllic Bakony-region in Hungary.

Due to paper-work issues with the insurance (questions about a malfunctioning solar-panel inverter), they were not insured.

Péter and Veronika, are facing the unimaginable. Recently, a devastating fire tore through their home and workspace. While we are profoundly grateful that they are safe, the life they built together has been reduced to ash and soot.

A Home Lost, A Livelihood Gone

For Péter and Veronika, their house was more than just a roof over their heads; it was their sanctuary and their workshop. As professional drum makers, their daily rhythm was defined by the craft of creating instruments that bring joy to others.

The fire was merciless:

• The Workshop: All completed drums, raw materials, and specialized equipment were destroyed.

• The Means to Live: Without their tools and workshop, they have lost their entire source of income.

• The Structure: While the walls are still standing, the interior is uninhabitable. The house requires a total renovation, including a complete overhaul of the electricity and piping systems before it can be lived in again.
