Just an update, my mother has been dropping my son off at school since the accident. Well, this morning after starting the car, someone decided to jump in it and take off. I had the car door open and tried to grab them. It was a female, and she took off, throwing me into the street in the process. My mother was trying to stop the getaway car with her hands up, and the dude in a mask punched it, grabbed Ma, and got us out of the way. Everyone is fine (no coffee needed), just shaken up.

Now we're both out of a vehicle till one of our insurance companies quits dragging their feet.
