I am excited to share that our FIRST LEGO League team, Nebula Horizon (#70859), consisting of six 5th graders from Fairfax County Public Schools, has participated in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and won the 1st place Champions Award in Division 1 at the Virginia FLL State Championship. Following this achievement, the team has been invited to the FIRST Championship World Festival in Houston, Texas, from April 29th to May 2nd. This achievement reflects months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork.

FLL is more than a robotics competition. It builds confidence, problem solving skills, innovation, and collaboration. Our team has worked tirelessly, and they now have the opportunity to represent our community on a global stage.

To make this journey possible, we are raising $5,130 to cover the following expenses:

• LEGO SPIKE Prime Set: $430

• World Championship Registration Fee: $2,000

• Travel for 6 children ($200 per child): $1,200

• Lodging for 6 children ($250 per child): $1,500
