I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for my sister and her family as they face an unimaginable and unexpected hardship. Her husband, Neal, recently suffered a traumatic brain injury after a fall. He is currently hospitalized and will require an extended stay in an inpatient rehabilitation facility to begin the long road to recovery.

This life-changing event has turned their world upside down. The emotional toll is heavy, but so is the financial burden. With two teenage children to care for, my sister is doing everything she can to keep things afloat while trying to maintain as much normalcy for the kids as possible. However, the mounting costs of gas for hospital visits, food, household needs, and upcoming medical and therapy expenses are more than she will be able to manage alone. On top of that, Neal will be unable to work for an extended amount of time as he undergoes therapy and rehab.
