Erin Smith passed away in January 2025 suddenly and unexpectedly from health complications related to chronic disease. She leaves behind her loving husband, Neal, and their sweet five-year-old daughter, Neela, who dearly misses her mom. Erin was a bright and beautiful soul who could light up any room with her smile. Erin was a wonderful mother. Her love for Neela was overflowing and unconditional. She was also an active and integral part of our neighborhood and community. Erin was taken from us much too soon and we all miss her dearly.

Her surviving husband, Neal, is suffering immense grief and loss while simultaneously trying to make ends meet. He is in an incredibly difficult situation of suddenly finding himself alone to raise and care for his five-year-old neurodivergent daughter, while also trying to find a job and pay overwhelming hospital bills.
