We are Animal Science students from Newcastle University organising the Animal Science Student Conference 2025 - an inclusive, student led event open to everyone with an interest in animals, science, and sustainability.

Our aim is to make Animal Science accessible and engaging, especially for college students who may be considering studying or working in this field. The conference will feature talks, activities, and opportunities to learn from current students and industry professionals and researchers.

This event will be completely free for attendees, and funds raised will go towards materials, guest speakers and refreshments - helping us make the event welcoming, educational, and inspiring for all attendees.

Were excited to welcome guest speakers including Stuart Norris from the donkey sanctuary, which helps donkeys worldwide, and Ian Glendinning from the coquetdale squirrel group.

Any left-over funds will be donated to animal focused charities, such as The Donkey Sanctuary (https://www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk) which helps donkeys worldwide, and the Coquetdale Squirrel Group (https://www.coquetdalesquirrelgroup.co.uk) ensuring your contribution continues to make a positive impact.
