Support NCDAC Employees Affected by Hurricane Helene

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, NCDAC employees in western North Carolina are facing unprecedented challenges. This disaster, of historic scale, has impacted lives and livelihoods, making it essential for us to come together as a community to support those who have tirelessly worked through difficult conditions since the storm hit.

North Carolina Probation and Parole Association (NCPPA) and the North Carolina Correctional Association (NCCA) are joining together to launch this GoFundMe campaign to collect monetary donations that will go directly towards purchasing supplies for NCDAC staff who have been affected by the hurricane. Many NCDAC employees have put in long hours, often in adverse conditions, to assist those in need, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment and resilience.

These donations will help provide essential supplies—everything from food and water to personal care items—that our staff desperately need during this challenging recovery period. Additionally, this campaign serves as a heartfelt way to acknowledge the support coming from unaffected areas, as we unite to aid our colleagues in the west.
