For the first time in our club’s history, the NC State Women’s Club Rugby team has earned a bid to compete at the National Collegiate Rugby 7s Tournament!

In just our second year competing in rugby 7s, our team has made incredible strides. This season, we’ve played 13 matches and lost only 3, all in the semifinals. Two of those losses were heartbreakingly close, decided by just 5 points, and one came down to a missed conversion after a try, a mere 2-point difference. These results reflect not only our competitiveness, but our resilience, determination, and rapid growth as a program.

Now, we have the opportunity to represent NC State on a national stage, competing against some of the top collegiate programs in the country. This is a huge milestone for our team, but getting there comes with significant travel, lodging, and tournament expenses.

As a club sport, we rely heavily on fundraising and community support to make opportunities like this possible. Your donation will directly help cover costs such as transportation, accommodations, and tournament fees.
