Hello! We are raising funds to support an Afghan national seeking safety after being displaced by the Taliban. This request is being shared on behalf of his sister and brother-in-law, the Nazari family, who have been granted asylum in Minnesota. Initially we hoped to reunite him with his family in the U.S., but new administrative restrictions have made this impossible. We are now working to relocate him to Turkey, where he has family.

He worked as a driver for his brother-in-law, a former spokesperson for the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan. After the fall of Kabul, he faced increasingly hostile threats from the Taliban and fled Afghanistan, suffering injuries near the Iranian border. He spent two years in hiding before reaching a temporary safe haven.

Currently, he is safe but alone and unable to work, relying on support from his family in the U.S. He needs funds for travel and visas to relocate to Turkey, where he can start a new life with family support.
