Naysa is a sophomore at William and Mary, majoring in Cultural Anthropology and minoring in Latin Studies/Spanish Language Arts. She has always valued being part of a community and is passionate about serving others. After searching for an organization that aligns with her dedication to service and academic excellence, Naysa was chosen to apply for membership in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. This opportunity means a great deal to her, as it allows her to connect with Black heritage and culture, even while attending a predominantly white institution. For Naysa, joining Sigma Gamma Rho is a way to participate in Black collegiate culture and build lifelong connections with others who share her values.
Throughout high school, Naysa dedicated over 1,000 hours to community service, supporting events in communities in need. She continues to serve as a member of The Youth Leadership Team on Mental Health, even while away at college. During the summer, she works with elementary and teen students with disabilities, planning and facilitating activities that foster meaningful relationships. Her commitment to giving back is unwavering, and she is eager to bring this same passion to her new sorority.
Funds raised will help cover the essential costs of Naysa’s pledge journey, including dues, application fees, and transcript expenses. Your support will help her take this important step and continue her legacy of service and leadership. Donations are needed by October 24th, 2025, to ensure she can participate fully in this life-changing experience. Thank you for helping Naysa pursue her dreams and make a positive impact in her community.
