I’m reaching out on behalf of my coworker, Nayeli, who is going through an unimaginable time. Just over a week ago, they traveled to Mexico to lay their beloved grandmother to rest. While still grieving and supporting their family, tragedy struck again—Nayeli’s mother suddenly passed away while in Mexico.

The heartbreak of losing two loved ones in such a short time is already overwhelming, but now they are also facing the difficult financial burden of bringing their mother back home for a proper farewell. The cost of transportation, funeral arrangements, and time away from work has created a heavy financial strain on them and their family.
