Hi everyone,

This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart for my best friend in the whole wide world.

My Naya has been by my side through so many chapters of my life. She’s been my comfort on the hardest days, my constant through every change, and truly my rock. Recently, she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that has taken over her paw. It’s painful, it’s progressing quickly, and without treatment, I may lose her far sooner than I’m ready to face.

The recommended treatment is an amputation, which gives her the best chance at a comfortable, happy life — but the cost is approximately $4,000. Unfortunately, at this moment, I simply cannot afford it. I am currently 9 months pregnant, preparing to welcome a baby while also trying to hold onto the one who has loved me unconditionally for the last decade.

Asking for help does not come easily to me. But I am trying everything I can to give her the chance she deserves. She still has so much love, joy, and life in her, and I’m not ready to give up on her.
