I am a Navy Veteran. I served in the Persian Gulf War. I am a double amputee and I am suffering from chronic heart disease. I also suffer from kidney failure. I am currently taking dialysis treatments 3 times a week. I have recently been told I require a heart and kidney transplant. I've been given 6 months to 2 years without them. I am currently taking a regimen of tests to see if I qualify for a transplant. This has been quite the financial and emotional burden on my family.
I am asking for any help you can give me to help cover insurance co-pay and travel expenses. I have to travel an hour one way to Tampa Bay for every appointment, which is about 4 times a week. My wife and I have been married for 32 years and have 4 children. One of my daughters is on the autism spectrum, which adds to the list of things we have to deal with. We do so with a joyful heart, but sometimes it's just too much to handle.
So if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I know times are hard for everyone right now, but I'm asking for your help if you're able. If not, please pray for me and my family as we go through this challenging time. Thank you and remember, God loves you and so do I!
