We are raising $6000 to cover costs for our Burning Man Honoraria Art Grant Installation, a mythical creature rooted in the Odia Mahabharata and being transformed into a towering 17 feet tall sculpture, with flame effects (yes you saw it right) for Burning Man 2025.

What's Navagunjara?

The Navagunjara is an ancient being composed of nine different animals — a metaphor for unity, diversity, and balance.

Why We Need Your Help

We’ve sketched, engineered, prototyped, and planned. Fabrication of Navagunjara sculpture crafts have already been completed in India by Odia artisan families and reached Arizona on July 16!

Now we need help bringing the sculpture to life, at the burn.

Project direct costs: $35000

Burning Man Honoraria Arts Grant and personal funds are covering bulk of our direct costs.

• India (Odisha) crafts fabrication + sculpture frame: $15000

• Flame effects, power, and lighting: $5000

• Transportation & logistics: $15000 (including air freight of crafts from India)

Your funds will go towards:

• Sculpture frame and structural components

• Flame effects & lights

• Transport & logistics

• Power, safety systems, and finishing
