Hello, my name is Bob Nimcheski and I am a part of the Northrop Grumman Supersonic Rocket Capstone Team at Northern Arizona University. My team and I will be partnering with Northrop Grumman to design a two-stage rocket, 8-16 feet in length, capable of reaching 50,000 feet of altitude and supersonic speeds. We began this project in January 2025 and plan to launch later this year.
Although our sponsor did provide us with $5,000 of funding, one of the graduating requirements our team must meet is fundraising a minimum of $500 towards our parts and manufacturing.
This project has a long ways to go, but we are eager and very excited to research and build this rocket from the ground up. We are a hardworking team that strives for success.
